In short: the code of the solanord.ro website does not set any cookies and does not track you. We do not use traffic analytics, advertising or social media plugins. The cookies that may appear are of two kinds: the one that remembers the choice you made in the consent banner, set on the solanord.ro domain by the CookieYes service, and the security cookies of Cloudflare, the provider through whose network the site is delivered. We describe them below. Below we also describe the Cloudflare security check that protects the contact form and runs in a separate frame when you use the form.
Who is responsible for this site
The solanord.ro website belongs to SOLANORD PANELS S.R.L., with its registered office at Sat Moisei, Comuna Moisei, nr. 1106A, jud. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves in your browser. On later visits, the browser sends it back to the site. Cookies are used, for example, to remember a login, to measure traffic or to display advertisements.
There are also other technologies that store or read information on your device, such as the browser’s local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage). The law applies to them in the same way as it does to cookies.
What our site does and does not do
The code of the solanord.ro website:
- does not set any cookies; the only cookie on the solanord.ro domain that does not come from Cloudflare is
cookieyes-consent, set by the CookieYes script and described below; - does not use the browser’s local storage or other similar technologies;
- does not use traffic analytics tools;
- does not use advertising, tracking or profiling cookies;
- does not load resources from third parties, apart from those set out immediately below: there are no maps, videos, social media buttons or plugins, and the fonts are served directly from the site.
The only things loaded from third parties are:
- the CookieYes consent banner, each time a page opens. The CookieYes script sets the
cookieyes-consentcookie on the solanord.ro domain, which remembers your choice. - the security check on the contact form (Cloudflare Turnstile), only when the contact form comes into view on the page. It runs in a separate Cloudflare frame.
The code of the contact form does not use cookies and does not save anything on your device. The security check that protects it is described below. The language in which you read the site is determined by the page address, not by a cookie.
Strictly necessary cookies that Cloudflare may set
The site reaches you through the Cloudflare network, a service that delivers the pages and protects the site against automated traffic and attacks. Cloudflare works for us, as a processor, and for this purpose processes the IP address and the technical data of the request sent by your browser.
Depending on how the protection is configured, Cloudflare may set one or more of the cookies below. Technically, they are set on the solanord.ro domain, but by Cloudflare, not by our code. The information on purpose and duration is that published by Cloudflare in its documentation.

It is possible that none of these cookies is set during your visit.
If you are shown a security check, that page is generated by Cloudflare and runs the code needed for the check, which examines technical characteristics of your browser to tell a real visitor from an automated program. It appears only when the traffic looks automated or suspicious. This check page is different from the check on the contact form, described below, which runs every time you use the form.
The cookies in the table are not used for statistics, for advertising or to track you from one site to another.
The security check on the contact form
When the contact form comes into view on the page, your browser loads the Turnstile security check from Cloudflare, Inc. It runs in a separate frame, served from the challenges.cloudflare.com domain, and examines technical characteristics of your browser to tell a real visitor from an automated program. Until that moment, nothing is loaded from Cloudflare for this purpose.
What the check may store in the browser is shown in the last row of the table above. We do not use the option by which Turnstile would set the cf_clearance cookie.
We do not ask for your consent to this check, because it is strictly necessary for a service you expressly request, namely sending a message through the form (Article 4(6) of Legea nr. 506/2004, the Romanian law explained in the next section), and it is a security measure. If you prefer not to go through it, you can write to us directly at office@solanord.ro.

The consent banner
Legea nr. 506/2004 (Law no. 506/2004, the Romanian law on the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector) requires that you be informed and give your consent before a site stores or reads information on your device (Article 4(5)). The rule has an exception: no consent is needed for operations that are strictly necessary to provide a service you have expressly requested (Article 4(6)).
The site displays a consent banner provided by CookieYes, a service of CookieYes Limited (United Kingdom). The banner asks which categories of cookies you accept in addition to the strictly necessary ones: functional, analytics, performance and advertisement cookies.
At present the site uses only the strictly necessary cookies described on this page, which fall within the exception above, according to the usual interpretation at European level. It does not use functional, analytics, performance or advertisement cookies, so those categories in the banner are empty. Whatever you choose, the site works in the same way and does not track you. The strictly necessary cookies do not depend on your choice.
The banner and its texts are loaded from CookieYes’s servers (cdn-cookieyes.com) each time a page opens, and the load is reported to log.cookieyes.com. When this happens, CookieYes receives your IP address, the browser language and type, and the address of the site.
Your choice is remembered in the browser by the following cookie:

The banner texts are provided by CookieYes and may appear in one language only, which may be different from the language of the page. When the cookieyes-consent cookie expires, you are asked for your choice again.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. The data processed by CookieYes, the legal basis and the recipients are described in the Privacy Policy.
How you can control cookies in your browser
You can view, delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. The options are usually found in the privacy section:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security;
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data;
- Safari: Settings > Privacy;
- Edge: Settings > Privacy, search, and services.
The exact names differ from one version to another. On a phone, the options are in the settings of the browser app.
If you block cookies, the site normally remains accessible. If you are shown a security check, it may be repeated, or it may not be possible to pass it without the cf_clearance cookie. In that case you can write to us directly at office@solanord.ro. If you block or delete the cookieyes-consent cookie, the banner asks for your choice again.
What would change if we added other tools
If we ever add traffic analytics tools, maps, videos or other content loaded from third parties that use cookies which are not strictly necessary:
- we will update this page before activating them;
- such cookies will be set only if you accept them in the consent banner;
- you will be able to refuse as easily as you can accept, and you will be able to withdraw your consent at any time.
Until then, no tool that uses cookies which are not strictly necessary runs on this site.
How this relates to personal data
The IP address and the technical data of the request are personal data. We process them, through Cloudflare and through the server on which the site is hosted, so that the site can operate securely. This is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
The security check on the contact form processes, through Cloudflare, your IP address and technical signals from the browser and the device.
To display the banner and to store your choice, your IP address and some technical data are also processed by CookieYes (CookieYes Limited), which works for us as a processor.
Cloudflare operates a global network, so some technical data may also be processed outside the European Economic Area. CookieYes Limited is established in the United Kingdom and delivers the banner through Cloudflare’s network, so this data too may be processed outside the European Economic Area. The applicable safeguards, the recipients of the data, the retention periods and your rights are explained in the Privacy Policy, to which you will find a link in the footer of every page.

Changes to this policy
We update this page whenever the way the site uses cookies or similar technologies changes. The date of the last update is shown at the top.
This policy is available in Romanian, English and Italian, with the same content. If you notice a difference between the versions, please write to us at office@solanord.ro; a translation difference does not reduce your rights.
